The Weight of the World is the first solo exhibition in the UK from this painter, essayist and poet with her early work inspiration drawn from largely abstract compositions and is suggestive of landscapes exploring the immediate beauty of colour whilst referencing specific places moving between recognisable and imagined forms...the 'leporellos' are accordion folded sketch books beautifully showcasing a distinct graphic language and curated to accompany the larger scale work.
