This years Deutsche Borse photography prize at the Photographers Gallery showcases this road trip constructing experiences drawn from memory and imagination, the journey begins in Switzerland and continues through The Caucasus into Russia and ends in Mongolia and throughout their travels the duo encounter landscapes and people in a state of ongoing transition from ancient traditions to modernity...using a mix of analogue media and techniques including 16mm films and large-format plate cameras this installation references the charm of travel and independent documentation!
