The Paper Aviary : St James's
This exhibition re-imagines the original 17th century birdcage in St James's Park that was filled with wild and exotic parrots brought over by the East India Company and proudly kept by King Charles II, working with local brands St James's have recreated the birds in brightly covered paper patterns reflecting the tailoring and fashion craftsmanship of nearby Jermyn Street featuring Prince of Wales checks, traditional hounds tooth and modern grid motifs!
