Daunt Books was founded in 1990 by James Daunt in this beautiful Edwardian and antiquarian shopfront on Marylebone High Street in London, at the heart of the store is a long galleried main room with a beautiful arched window, books are placed by country and in so doing creates relaxed browsing both for the traveller and the local reader...it's like stepping back in time to another era inside a country house in the city!
