Japan House London hosted a private view exhibition for one night only of the travelling bamboo Kian tea house with ceremony alongside a Shodo calligraphy demonstration at their Marylebone, London residence...we were transported with a feeling for the traditional arts and Zen influenced culture surrounding the Kyoto tea house, both were meditative experiences touching on thoughts of simplicity, imperfection and the immersion of nature that is so often forgotten within our modern city lifestyles!
