This new exhibition at the V&A tells the story of how this often overlooked material made the modern world, featuring groundbreaking pieces by Alvar Aalto, Marcel Breuer and Charles and Ray Eames alongside an incredible range of objects from planes and homes to skateboards and chairs the versatility of this light and strong wood have shaped design and our relationship with objects as part of our everyday lives...the dramatic curation focuses on the stories and history putting plywood in a well deserved spotlight!
