The House : Kettle's Yard
The University of Cambridge was entrusted with the house of Jim and Helen Ede after their passing, in the 1920s and 30s Jim had been a curator at the Tate Gallery in London and thanks to his friendships with artists over the years he gathered a remarkable collection, with paintings by Ben Nicholson and Joan Miró and sculptures by Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth as some of the many featured pieces...as part of the Kettle's Yard gallery this living space has been left as seen and allows the visitor to experience the home and extensive collection through the eyes of the artistic curation of the original owners for all to enjoy!
