American artist Dan Flavin presents a retrospective show Coloured Fluorescent Light at David Zwirner in Mayfair, London featuring installations of commercial fluorescent lamps in colour background rooms first shown in New York in 1976 showcasing his visual vocabulary of red, pink, blue, green, yellow, cool white, daylight, warm white and soft white lighting...dramatic and moody the everyday materials shape the space with the complementary use of colour painted rooms inside and as seen from outside of the gallery townhouse!
