Cork The Natural Escape : Sofalca X Spectroom
The London Design Fair at the Truman Brewery warehouse venue in Spitalfields, London hosted Portuguese cork company Sofalca with design studio Spectroom showcasing the lounge space Cork The Natural Escape, including their brands Gencork and Blackcork the installation explored the convergence between architecture and design, light and shadow, open and closed space utilising this innovative and sustainable material to create a sensory experience...the black stark space featured patterned walls, pebble flooring and furnishing pieces highlighted by mood lighting exhibiting the new possibilities of this unique natural resource!
