London Masque : John Hejduk
The Royal Academy of Art in Mayfair, London presents an exhibition by American architect John Hejduk who believed that ideas were as important as buildings and that architecture had the power to evoke alternative worlds, masques which were popular royal entertainments of the 16th and 17th centuries featured fantastical costumes and moving sets inspiring Hejduk to transform the way that architecture is taught and imagined...the Windows House installation brings to life craftmanship, tradition and story telling combining art and architecture with composition workshop models continuing the exploration of the architects process in the present day!
