Serpentine Pavilion 2021 : Counterspace
The 2021 Pavilion at Serpentine Galleries in Kensington Gardens, London has been designed by South African architects Counterspace in this yearly commission of inviting a communal design build onto the gallery gardens creating a new space to experience and gather whilst wondering at the innovation of an architectural open air space...the elliptical shaped pavilion is built of reclaimed steel, cork and timber covered with micro-cement with varying textures and hues in a monochromatic styling that invites conversation and contemplation within the contemporary space!
