Theatre Scenery : V&A Museum
The Theatre and Performance gallery at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London showcases a collection of incredible resource that documents the history and current practices of British theatre scenery in all areas of the performing arts including drama, dance, opera and puppetry highlighting the skill set of costume makers, scenic props, musical score and set design...the early days of window dressing in the 1900's were particularly influenced by this art form as seen in the scaled down proportions of displays and store windows acting as a stage set into another world!
